Priorización de áreas para la restauración de bosques nativos en la Provincia del RancoOtroEn el marco del proyecto “Forestación Sustentable y Manejo Integrado de Cuencas Etapa 2”, ejecutado por la Corporación Nacional Forestal (CONAF), cuya finalidad busca recuperar bosques nativos degradados en predios de pequeños propietarios y comunidades indígenas en la Provincia del Ranco, se ha propuesto realizar un análisis a escala de cuencas, para encontrar áreas para la restauración de bosques nativos. El presente reporte tiene por objetivo dar a conocer los resultados de un análisis de priorización de áreas para dicha restauración y un avance en la selección de dos cuencas que pudieran ser consideradas como piloto para la ejecución de actividades. Avances en la elaboración de propuestas de restauración a escala de cuencas en la provincia del Ranco, Fase 2InformeEl año 2016, en el contexto del proyecto de “Forestación Sustentable y Manejo Integrado de Cuencas Etapa 2”, que ejecuta la Corporación Nacional Forestal (CONAF) en la Provincia del Ranco, Región de Los Ríos, el Instituto forestal (INFOR) realizó un análisis de priorización de áreas para la restauración de bosques nativos. El presente reporte tiene por objetivo presentar los avances del trabajo técnico para la elaboración de propuestas de restauración, las cuales fueron diseñadas sobre la base de la definición de componentes y valores que propone la aproximación conceptual de la restauración ecológica. Se presentan avances sobre al levantamiento de información de los componentes sociales y ecológicos, entre los que se incluyen la identificación y caracterización de unidades de restauración, identificación de amenazas y una aproximación a la valorización social del significado de la restauración de bosques nativos en cada una de las áreas de trabajo.
